Journal of Allergy and Immunology (JAI) is a bimonthly, open access, peer-reviewed journal which considers manuscripts on all aspects of allergic diseases, immunodeficiencies.

Papers can be submitted to any discipline related to asthma, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma, hypersensitivity, occupational lung diseases, food allergy, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, primary immune deficiencies, occupational and environmental allergy, pediatric immunology, allergology, anaphylaxis, immune deficiency syndromes, venom hypersensitivity, antibody deficiencies, drug hypersensitivity, complement deficiency, phagocytic cell abnormalities, food allergy, immunotherapy, immune modulators and biologics, auto-inflammatory syndromes, allergic skin diseases, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, acute and chronic urticaria, or angioedema, rhinoconjunctivitis and rhinosinusitis and other allergic and immunologic related topics.

Manuscripts may take the form of original empirical research, critical reviews of the literature, brief commentaries, meeting reports, case reports, innovations in clinical practice, letters and drug clinical trial studies.

Please, follow the Instructions for Authors. The acceptance criteria for all papers are the quality and originality of the research and its significance to our readership. Except where otherwise stated, manuscripts are peer reviewed by two anonymous reviewers and the Editor. In the cover letter add the name and e-mail address of 5 proposed reviewers (we can choose them or not).

Dr. Kazuhito Asano is Professor and Director of Division of  Physiology, School of Nursing and Rehabilitation Sciences, Showa University, Yokohama, Japan and Chief of the Graduate Course of Nursing and Rehabilitation Sciences at Showa University. He received his bachelor and master degree of Public Health from Kitasato University, Kanagawa, Japan and completed his clinical training in the field related to the eradication of infectious diseases at National Institute of Public Health, Tokyo, Japan. He also received doctor degree, Ph D, in the field of intestinal mucosal immunity from Showa University, Tokyo, Japan.

He is one of the leading research experts in airway, especially nasal mucosa, inflammatory immune responses. His research works are supported by various grants from The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science of Japan and others.
